Weightpack Srl is excited to announce the launch of the “Weightpack Next” project, developed thanks to the contribution received through the “Ricerca & Innova” call for proposals, funded by the Regional Program under the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (FESR PR 2021-2027) of the Lombardy Region. This call, as described in section 1.1.1, supports investment in research, development and innovation, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses.
Innovation in the net weight filling and capping sector
Our company, which specializes in the design and manufacture of machines for net weight filling and capping of liquid and powdery/granular products, is pursuing the “Weightpack Next” project with the aim of making our production facilities increasingly smarter and more efficient.
Thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence algorithms, Weightpack machines will be able to process and analyze the amount of data usable by all the electrical equipment that makes up the automation architecture, optimizing filling and capping processes.
This will enable more precise control, minimizing error margins and improving the efficiency of operations to meet the needs of all industries that require precision and reliability.
A key contribution from the Lombardy Region
The funding received from the Lombardy Region through the PR FESR 2021-2027 program is an important opportunity for Weightpack: it allows us to accelerate the innovation process and remain at the forefront of the industrial automation field. The “Weightpack Next” project will not only improve the performance of our machines, but also help make the entire production process more flexible and responsive to market needs.
